ROBERT grassland maintance F2400 TOPPER

description

ROBERT grassland harrows

The F2400 is a vertical‑axle grassland shredder designed for maintaining meadows, pastures and other permanent grassland. Its purpose is to lift flattened grass, chop organic matter and promote aeration—all to encourage healthy regrowth and improve pasture quality.

Design & Key Features

  • Working Width: Approximately 2.80 metres

  • Dual Circular Rotors: Operate with three ventilated, retractable blades each that efficiently lift and cut grass compressed by machinery traffic

  • Height‑Adjusting Skids: Two robust steel skids offer seven cutting height settings between 4 cm and 18 cm
  • Geartrain: Powered by a 130 hp PTO gearbox (540 rpm) driving a central gearbox, which via chain couplings turns two 70 hp satellite gearboxes
  • Robust Build: Profiled steel frame with slip‑clutch and freewheel protection; blades are ventilated and retractable for safe operation and easy maintenance

Benefits & Applications

  • Promotes Pasture Health: Lifts and cuts old, flattened turf to increase air, light and moisture penetration

  • Longevity: Heavy-duty, retractable blades minimise damage and simplify maintenance

  • Cleaning & Customisation: Seven‑step height adjustment and optional accessories (e.g. rear depth roller, harrow, projection chains) suit diverse field conditions

  • Easy to Maintain: Blades are removable and deployable; slip clutches help protect drive components under strain
